Stoats are very cool little creatures but they are pests in NZ. They have brownish coloured fur on their back and cream fur on their belly. I was surprised to learn that a stoats fur turns white in winter! Stoats have short, strong legs on their long slender body which reminds me of a sausage.
At night in the woods the stoat lurking hi and low in the tree with the birds, eggs
