Film Review - Teacher Talk Room 3

The movie “Teacher Talk” was made by room 3 it’s a comedy which took place in a classroom by Point England School. The movie was about the student in room 3 talking about comments there teachers say to them. In the movie the student got to expressed the thing there teachers say to them some of the things they said was  “go back to your seat” “warning 1” that was the main one. My personal opinion on the movie was really enjoyable and funny. Out of a 5 star rating I give it a 5 and is suitable for all ages.

“Right before the 200 meter race began in London 2012 Olympics Yohan  Blake is a bit nervous I think” said the news reporter “well i'm a bit nervous but i'll get thru this race like fire” said Yohan blake.

“The race is now finished and Yohan blake how do you feel” said the news reporter “I feel exhausted and i'm so proud of myself and to all my supporters I just wanna say if you would like to run the 200m race in the Olympics then go for it and never give up and just keep on going and i would like to say a huge thank you to my coach and my family for believing in me” said Mr Blake.



this week in room 2 the students of room 2 had to do some writing and we had to pick our athletes who did the 200m race in 2012 the player that i pick is Yohan blake. what we had to do is pretend that we are news reporters interviewing player that we pick.

Dear Ms Tapuke,

My name is Syriah and I am from new zealand and I am maori I am the oldest out of 3 in my family. Am 12 years old this February . My brothers are Zane  and sister and Letoria

I am a huge fan of music. I also like netball sometimes I am GS  or GK. I always like going to the pools with my friends and family.

My favorite subjects are reading and break time. I really like working in groups or 2. The things I don’t like at school is talking in front of everyone like doing speeches. My goal for this year is to get better at all subjects even talking.

This year I am look forward to Ms Tapuke teaching new stuff.

Trade and Enterprise Dictogloss.

Trade

Trade means when you swap something for something else. It could be like you swap  something like a car and money, a car for a car, a car for a job or a job for money.

Trade is exchange.

Enterprise

Enterprise is when you start a  new business. You need an idea, to get all the resources and get all the things you need to make a shop. Then make it into a profit.

Jewellery and Accessories

The group I'm in is the jewellery and accessories group. I’m making hair accessories. We have these groups so we can make Pts and pieces.

If I had a million dollars

If I had a million dollars  to spend at Sylvia Park the stores I will visit are Foot locker, Smart sushi and McDonald’s.

At Foot Locker I would buy some Roshe running Nike shoes for myself because they are cool.

The next store that I would go to is Smart sushi. I will buy chicken sushi, teriyaki chicken and a drink with it. It would be yummy for me to eat it and it is really delicious for my family.

Next we would go to McDonald's. The thing that I would buy is a cheeseburger, an ice cream sundae, a drink and also some chicken nuggets. This would fill me up for dinner.

I would be Happy because I would have shoes to run in and I wouldn't be hungry.

It is a good way for me to spend my money because I need new shoes and I deserve some food treats. Then I could spend the money that is left over to buy my families groceries for the whole year.

Where am I?

This week we have been learning about using adjectives. Here are some clues to describe where I am in the school. Can you guess?

Today in writing Miss Kyee was teaching us about adjectives. An adjective is a describing word. Here are my sentences with 6 adjectives in them. I have highlighted the adjectives yellow.

My Tiger’ s is striped brown, black, orange and yellow. He is gigantic.

His fur is so fluffy and he has a big long nose. Here he is lying sleepily on the grassy ground.

Holiday Highlight

In the holidays my family and I went to Rainbows End on Friday because it was my cousins birthday.  

The most cool ride was the roller coaster. It was so so cool. The next day I went to my aunty's house. We watched the movies the home and Spongebob. It was so cool. I was so like The Home was the best movie and then I fell asleep.  

On Sunday we all went to the pools. After we went to the park and had lunch.

The Pt England Way  - WITS    

Use your WITS means W-Walk away, I-Ignore, T-Talk about it and S-Seek help. You should use your WITS because it can help you when someone is mean to you in life.

Walk away from the person doing mean things. You have to move far away so they can’t see you anymore. One time when someone was swearing at me I walked away and couldn’t hear them anymore.

Ignore it is when you don’t listen or look at the person being mean. If you ignore them then it doesn’t hurt you anymore. When kids in my class give me mean eyes I don’t look at them and ignore them.

Talk about it means go ask them to stop it. Say “I do not like it.” When my brother is being mean by swearing at me I say stop it please I do not like it and sometimes he will stop.

Seek help means look for an adult to tell them the name of the person that is hurting you. Remember to tell them you have already talked to the person but they haven’t stopped. Sometimes I have to talk to my mum when my brother is hurting me.

You should use your WITS if someone is being mean to you because it will get you far in life. It will keep you out of trouble.  

Spending time with Family

In the holidays me and my family did lots of fun activities. We spent lots of time together.

First we went to Rainbows End. We went on the rides for a fun day. The cool part was when I went on the cool ride called Fear Fall. It was scary because it went up and then dropped down fast.

On Monday we went to the pools. There were three pools. There were two cold ones and one warm one. I liked the cold ones because it was a hot day.

We also went rock climbing. I really liked spending time with my family.
