Trade and Enterprise Dictogloss.
Trade
Trade means when you swap something for something else. It could be like you swap something like a car and money, a car for a car, a car for a job or a job for money.
Trade is exchange.
Enterprise
Enterprise is when you start a new business. You need an idea, to get all the resources and get all the things you need to make a shop. Then make it into a profit.
Jewellery and Accessories
The group I'm in is the jewellery and accessories group. I’m making hair accessories. We have these groups so we can make Pts and pieces.

adjectives
Today in writing Miss Kyee was teaching us about adjectives. An adjective is a describing word. Here are my sentences with 6 adjectives in them. I have highlighted the adjectives yellow.
My Tiger’ s is striped brown, black, orange and yellow. He is gigantic.
His fur is so fluffy and he has a big long nose. Here he is lying sleepily on the grassy ground.

Creative Paragraphs- Man In Space
This week we have been learning to rework our writing to make our paragraphs interesting for our audience. We started by writing a creative sentence about this picture. As a class we will choose Nate's sentence because we liked it the best and wrote a paragraph each to follow the chosen sentence.
He spends his time cooking, clean make his bed. He always is going for a bounces space walk in the icy cold air.
Here is the beginning of my story that starts with Nate's sentence.
A spaceman bravely walks out into the icy milky way. His body fills with terror as he realises there is nothing but space surrounding him. Another whole year to go.
He spends his time cooking, clean make his bed. He always is going for a bounces space walk in the icy cold air.

Holiday Highlight
In the holidays my family and I went to Rainbows End on Friday because it was my cousins birthday.
The most cool ride was the roller coaster. It was so so cool. The next day I went to my aunty's house. We watched the movies the home and Spongebob. It was so cool. I was so like The Home was the best movie and then I fell asleep.
On Sunday we all went to the pools. After we went to the park and had lunch.

Yr 5 and 6 had a camp.
Last week the Yr 5 and 6 had a camp. My group was called the Honest Squad. I really liked to kayak. I know how to do the paddling strokes in time and do foot, bum, foot when you hope in the kayak.
We also liked cooking with Mrs Jarman. We made chocolate chip cookies. They were yum! What an exciting day.
When we played Top Town, Mr Jacobsen called it kill zone but you don’t die. Mr Jacobsen just called it that. It was kind of like a race. My group the Honest Squad versed the All Stars. We lost. They sang a team chant after they won.
On the last night of camp we had a concert in the hall. All the teams had a dance. It was so fun.
On Friday we went swimming at Mangere Pools and jumped in the freezing cold water. There were two slides and a bombing pool but I did not go on it because it was deep.
I wish that camp never finished. I can’t wait to go back next year!
